PATIENTS at Colchester’s hospitals are getting much better care, a new survey reveals.

The Care Quality Commission heard from 461 adults who spent at least a night at Colchester General or Essex County hospitals last August.

They were asked about their admission, quality of care, pain control, communication with doctors and nurses, hospital food, cleanliness nad more.

The survey of adult inpatients showed patients had responded more positively than the previous year in 38 areas and less positively in only one.
