FAMILY of a man who died, aged 24, after a brave battle with cancer have set up a charitable trust in his memory.

Robin Freeman, of Queen’s Road, Wivenhoe, died in St Helena Hospice, Colchester, on December 10 last year.

He was suffering from a form of germ cell cancer that developed as a grapefruit-sized tumour in his chest.

Now his parents and two brothers have formed the Robin Cancer Trust to help raise awareness of the condition in young people.

Brother Toby Freeman, 22, is the acting chairman of the project, which is currently applying to become a registered charity.

Dad, Mark Freeman, will act as the treasurer and sibling Adam, 28 and mum Lorna make up the board of trustees.
