WITNESSES are needed after a pervert indecently exposed himself to teenage girls near a playground.

The 12 and 13-year-old girls were near the playground off Layer Road, Colchester, when a man repeatedly dropped his trousers to expose his genitals.

PC Richard English, said: "This must have been a distressing incident for these two children who were on their way home that Monday night.

“We’re determined that this man is arrested before he alarms other children in the area.

“As a result, we need to identify him as soon as possible and are looking for help from residents who live in the vicinity who may know who he is or where he lives.”

The man is described as white, aged in his 30s, fat and has a completely bald head.

At the time he was wearing a black-and-yellow sleeveless top and black tracksuit bottoms.

The incident happened shortly after 9pm on Monday, April 9.

Anyone who recognises the man from the description provided is urged to contact investigating officers at Colchester police station on 101.
