MPS will meet on Monday to form a group encouraging more people to get First aid training.
The All-Party First group is the brainchild of Colchester MP Sir Bob Russell and is being organised by first aid organisation St John with the support of the Red Cross.
MPs will begin learning life-saving skills including CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and resuscitation by St John Ambulance staff on life-sized dummies.
Dozens of MPs have pledged to attend Monday’s session, and it is hoped they will become first-aid ambassadors and encourage their constituents to get training.
