AN author has published a book which he hopes will convince readers convicted murderer Jeremy Bamber is innocent.
Peter Healey has spent almost 30 years writing his new book, Rough Justice, finally having it published last month.
Mr Healey, of Bull Lane, Tiptree, said: “It has taken 27 years of my life to do this.
“I am so sure he is innocent and I believe he never needed an alibi because he was telling the truth.
“I have spent nearly 30 years researching murders in Essex and this is my take on them all and one of the main things I intend to help prove Jeremy Bamber is innocent.”
The book also includes letters sent to Mr Healey by Bamber from his cell in Full Sutton, York.
It is available from Amazon.
