FLOOD warnings have been issued for Colchester.
The Environment Agency has said river levels are likely to increase over Tuesday and there have been reports of roads flooding in the town.
Parts of Colchester Road, in Tiptree, Mersea Road, in Abberton, and Cowdray Avenue, in Colchester, were flooded on Tuesday morning.
The A12 also had heavy surface water on both carriageways at the Ardleigh Crown interchange junction with the A120 and Essex Police urged drivers to take extra care on all roads.
