THREE men who allegedly burgled a house in Halstead armed with a knife and garden shears have been sent to Chelmsford Crown Court for trial.
Ricky Cook, 20, of Ramsey Road, Halstead, Jordan Simmons, 19, of Saxon Close, Halstead, and Charlie Simms, 18, of Goodchild Way, Great Yeldham, all appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
It is alleged, on January 19, they illegally entered a house stealing cash and a games console, worth a total of £190, while armed.
All three have been charged with aggravated burglary and have been bailed to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on July 9 for a plea and case management hearing.
