A CARE home has been given the green light to open to residents.
St Fillian’s care home passed its final Care Quality Commission inspection on Thursday and will welcome its first resident next Monday.
In total six people are booked to move in.
Sandie Oxborrow, commissioning manager at the St Fillian Road home, which specialises in dementia care, said staff have been waiting for the health watchdog report since the home opened in May.
“It is great news,” She said.
“We have been waiting a while for this and we are ready to welcome our residents.”
