A RARE opportunity to scale down Colchester’s imposing Jumbo water tower while supporting a vital hospice is on offer.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (Each) is looking for up to 100 thrillseekers to take part in the Colchester Abseil on Saturday, August 4.
Participants will be able to enjoy the views across north Essex before descending 70ft down the Victorian water tower with the help of the Royal Artillery Display Troop.
Participants aged 14 to 16 will pledge to raise at least £30 for care and support for Essex children and their families at the hospice, while those aged 17 and above will pay £75.
To sign up visit www.each.org.uk/colchesterabseil or call 01206 848450.
