A PUBLIC meeting will be held to showcase plans for a new bus lane in north Colchester.
Essex County Council wants to create the two-way bus lane along the existing Northern Approach Road from Mill Road.
It will end near Bruff Close at North Station.
Paul McLean from Essex County Council will be hosting a meeting on Tuesday at 8pm at the Methodist Church Hall, Nayland Road, Mile End.
The plans will be on display and explained.
The planning application for the bus lane will be submitted by the County Council next month.
The bus lane is part of the council’s North Colchester Travel Strategy which aims to relieve congestion around the station and also on nearby Cowdray Avenue and surrounding streets.
