POLICE have warned homeowners to lock doors and windows after a spate of burglaries.
A home in Forest Road was targeted between 1pm Sunday, July 8 and 3pm Wednesday, July 11.
A second occurred in Laing Road between 2:30pm and 3:30pm on Wednesday, July 11.
In both cases thieves climbed in through an insecure windows and took large-screen televisions and games consoles.
Investigating Officer, Dc Natalie King, said: "We urge people to close and lock their doors when leaving there premises or before going to bed.
“Even rear gates to gardens should be secured.”
She suggested that both burglaries could be linked.
