I READ the story about Dairy Crest using a call centre thousands of miles away to deal with customer queries (Gazette, July 17).
I had a query on Monday, when no milk was delivered. I called and was told the milkman was late delivering.
A few hours later and no milk, so I called again, and I was told he was on his rounds and my milk would be delivered.
My Monday order was never delivered.
It strikes me as complete madness to employ a call centre the other side of the world to give misleading information to customers.
