AN ARTIST is opening her Brightlingsea beach hut to the public this weekend.
Colchester-based Abi Cunliffe is inviting the public to have a cup of tea and ask questions about her new performance installation being launched in September.
The open beach hut is part of Abi's development of Standstill, a 20 minute one-on-one performance installation where the audience is invited to slow down, stand still, and breathe.
Experimenting with sound and silence, found objects and glimpses through windows, Abi will create a space to capture a moment for yourself inside a beach hut.
Beach hut 324 on Lakeside is open on Saturday July 21 between 2-5pm.
