A TALENTED young footballer has lost her battle with leukaemia, aged 14.
Paige Watts, of Estuary Close, Colchester, had been fighting the cancer for a year.
The Gilberd School pupil played as striker for her school team and Colchester Town ladies under-15s.
Coach Kim Farmer said she was a model player who could have gone on to be professional.
