SIXTEEN neighbourhoods in Colchester are now included on the Government's Covid hotspots map, latest figures show.
According to the latest data, for the seven days to June 18, 16 parts of the borough recorded more than three cases in this period.
The other four recorded less than three cases and are not included on the Government's hotspots map.
Here are the latest number of cases for each area:
- Greenstead - 15
- Wivenhoe & University - 13
- Old Heath & Rowhedge - 12
- Prettygate & Westlands - 11
- New Town & Hythe - ten
- Parson's Heath - ten
- Abbey Field - nine
- Highwoods - nine
- Mile End and Braiswick - seven
- Monkwick - seven
- Central Colchester - six
- Marks Tey & Wakes Colne - five
- Shrub End - five
- Stanway - five
- Tiptree - three
- West Mersea - three
- Horkesley Heath, Langham & Dedham - less than three
- West Bergholt & Wormingford - less than three
- Layer-de-la-Haye, Abberton & Mersea East - three
- Lexden - less than three
Colchester's average infection rate is now 73.4 cases per 100,000 people.

This is because there were 143 cases confirmed in the borough in the week to June 19.
The average infection rate has risen from 48.3 cases per 100,000 people a week earlier.
Tendring's average infection rate is now 21.2 cases per 100,000 people after the district saw 31 cases in the week to June 19.
