I READ your article about development at Crossways Centre on the B1029 (Gazette, August 23) and am in full agreement with the residents of that area for three main reasons:
1. The B1029 is residential or farming occupation, with very few exceptions.
2. I have lived at a commercial/ brownfield property for 60 years and we have never been allowed to develop beyond the boundary of that site.

3.The junction of the B1029 and the A 133 and indeed the whole of the B1029 itself, are not suitable for sustainded use for anything beyond 3.5tonnes.
Why is this upsetting episode occurring?
