It would appear that Clingoe Hill is a magnet for people’s rubbish, bottles, cans etc.
This was the amount we collected in two hours on Saturday, by myself and two others (The Wivenhoe Wombles group), from a fairly small area of just one side of the hill - seven bags of rubbish, 2 garden bags full with bottles and cans...car bits, a pair of boots and a wok!
Also, yet another temporary road sign and three sandbags were pulled out of the bushes.
Litter picking here is sadly ongoing, for as fast as we clear one area, rubbish re-accumulates.
Thanks as always to Mark Cory for his support.
