STUDENTS have been busy helping a new business to thrive.
Felsted School’s pupil charity team have partnered with new coffee shop Rumblesbees to sell Ugandan Safi coffee.
The new independent shop in Felsted serves coffee as well as being a music and book shop.
Owners Trevor and Jane Beeston agreed to serve and sell Safi coffee after blind tasting of number of products and voting it as their favourite.
Trevor said: “This property has helped serve the community in many different ways for over 400 years.
“Now we are excited to bring our passion for great music, best-selling books and delicious coffee and support this fantastic initiative.”
The coffee is a joint venture between Felsted School, Hull Collegiate School, Highgate School and Great Lakes High School in Uganda.
One of the schools' coffee charities, Teach Uganda, highlighted the coffee which is grown in the south west region.
All profits will go directly to the education of young people in the Kanungu region.
Students from Felsted visit Uganda every two years to teach and work in the community.
