New arrival John Sullivan says he did not have to think twice about joining Colchester United.
And the Charlton Athletic goalkeeper has vowed to give the U’s maximum commitment during his month’s loan.
Sullivan made his debut in Colchester’s 3-2 defeat at Crewe Alexandra, last weekend.
He replaced Mark Cousins between the sticks and it was the 24-year-old’s first competitive game in nearly seven months.
Sullivan said: “As soon as I got the phone call I wanted to come, because I just want to play."
