Colchester United forward Gavin Massey reckons regular football is helping his career blossom.
The 20-year-old forward is set to start his 16th successive game for the U’s at Bury tomorrow.
Massey is enjoying his longest run in the U’s starting line-up, having initially joined them on loan from Championship side Watford, last summer.
He is relishing playing in a wide position for Joe Dunne’s side, where he is getting plenty of goalscoring opportunities.
And Massey is hungry for more games, as the U’s fight to preserve their League One status.
Massey said: “I’m loving playing football week in, week out and it’s all I’ve ever wanted to do.
“This is the longest run of games I’ve had in the starting line-up.”
