John-Joe O’Toole admits he is unsure what the future holds for him at Colchester United.
But the tenacious midfielder has vowed to do all he can to help the U’s preserve their League One status.
O’Toole, who has a year left on his contract, came on as a substitute in Colchester’s win over Leyton Orient last weekend.
O'Toole said: “I don’t know whether the manager wants me or not but all I can do is try my hardest and do my best for this football club."
