Joe Dunne expects Notts County’s players to have plenty to play for tomorrow, despite their mid-table status.

Colchester United head to Meadow Lane to play a Magpies side who lie 12th in the League One table and with little other than pride to play for unlike the U's who are fighting for survival.

Chris Kiwomya’s side have lost their last three games but U’s boss Dunne is still predicting a tough task for his side.

Dunne said: “I would think some of Notts County’s players will be playing for contracts.

“Chris took over at a stage of the season where he’s done well to change the style.

“He’ll be looking to rebuild them for next year.

“They were very good against us earlier in the season and they did an excellent defensive job.

“I’ve seen them after that a couple of times and the biggest thing has been their home form.

“They haven’t been able to recreate their system and style that they have away from home.

“Their home form has probably let them down but they have good individuals.

“They have players who are a danger to anybody and they will be a force next year.

“This is a chance for Chris now to take a look at how he wants to take the club.

“They’ve lost three games in a row and I know what that’s like.”
