Joe Dunne has called on his Colchester United players to be mentally strong, ahead of their day of destiny.
The U’s make the long trip up to Carlisle United knowing a single point will be enough to preserve their League One status.
But defeat at Brunton Park - coupled with a win for fourth-bottom Scunthorpe United over Swindon Town - could send the U’s down on goal difference.
Scunthorpe would need a three-goal swing in their favour to survive, should they draw level on points with Colchester.
But U’s boss Dunne has stressed his team must concentrate on what they do, rather than what happens at Glanford Park.
