Colchester United will host Premier League side West Ham United in a pre-season friendly this summer.
The U's will welcome the Hammers to the Weston Homes Community Stadium for the second summer running, after the game was announced for July 16.
Last year, West Ham ran out 2-1 winners over Colchester in a friendly where goals from Nicky Maynard and Mark Noble cancelled out Anthony Wordsworth's goal for the U's in front of a crowd of nearly 8,000.
