Essex’s Alastair Cook and Ravi Bopara have been picked for the NatWest ODI Series and ICC Champions Trophy squads starting on 31 May and 8 June, respectively.
England selectors named a 15-man squad for the three match NatWest ODI series, against New Zealand, and the ICC Champions Trophy, with the first fixture against Australia at Edgbaston followed by matches against Sri Lanka at the Oval and New Zealand in Cardiff in the group stages.
The two top ranked sides from the group will continue to the semi-final stages of the tournament.
Cook will captain a side that includes two additions from the squad that defeated New Zealand 2-1 in February with Tim Bresnan and Bopara added.
