Mark Cousins has signed a new contract with Colchester United.
The long-serviing goalkeeper, who was out of contract at the Weston Homes Community Stadium this summer has put pen to paper on a one-year deal, with an option for a further year.
Cousins, 26, has made more than 70 appearances for the U's since making his debut for them in 2007.
Colchester are still waiting to see if Jabo Ibehre and John White will sign the new contracts offered to them this summer.
