A young Colchester United side ran out 4-1 winners at Witham Town, in their latest pre-season friendly.
Two goals apiece from Ryan Melaugh and Macauley Bonne gave the U's victory at Spa Road.
Colchester are next in action tomorrow night when they travel to play AFC Sudbury, in another pre-season friendly.
