Colchester United winger Drey Wright has signed a new contract with the club.
The talented 18-year-old, who had a year remaining on his existing deal with the U's, has extended his stay at the Weston Homes Community Stadium until 2016.
Wright made a big impact in his first full season with the first-team last year, with his impressive performances helping him to secure the Young Player of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Colchester have completed the signing of left-back Ryan Dickson on a one-year deal.
The former Southampton defender had been on trial with the U's and played in their recent games against Spurs and Ipswich Town.
Colchester will send teams to play Maldon and Tiptree and Needham Market tomorrow, as their pre-season preparations draw to a conclusion.
