FORMER Philip Morant pupil Ben Ager scooped the trophies at the Colchester & District Youth Football League Referees Award Ceremony held at the Arena Leisure Centre.
Ager, aged 16, received the Junior Referee’s shield awarded for the highest average points, together with the Junior Referee of the year award.
League president Lieutenant Colonel Peter Andrews OBE also presented the youngster with the overall Referee of the Year Shield awarded for both senior and junior referees.
