Colchester United are counting the cost of their Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Dagenham and Redbridge after suffering a number of injuries in the first-round tie.
Gavin Massey and Clinton Morrison both picked up hamstring injuries in the 4-1 defeat, while skipper Brian Wilson suffered a kick to the calf.
Ryan Dickson was ill during the game, while Magnus Okuonghae will be suspended for Colchester's game against Coventry City on Sunday after being sent off for two bookable offences.
Sanchez Watt (ankle), Freddie Sears (groin) and Drey Wright (calf) are also on the treatment table, leaving U's boss Joe Dunne short of numbers ahead of the weekend.
Dunne said: “Our physio Tony Flynn has got a lot of work to do and we have to make sure that the players are recovered properly and see where we are on Sunday."
