HANNAH Stodel has her eyes on a medal and out to prove they are the team to beat in Miami.
The West Mersea sailor is competing in the ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami, which started yesterday and ends on Saturday.
Along with helm John Robertson and Steve Thomas, they will be using the race as a launching point for their bid for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio.
Stodel, Robertson and Thomas will feature in the eight-boat Sonar fleet.
Stodel said: “We’re looking for a medal here, to cement the team again and put ourselves back in the standings.
“If we come top six here we’ll be top of the leaderboard in the world rankings so it would be good to medal.
“Competition will be pretty tough this week."
