George Moncur is set to feature again for Colchester United tonight when they take on Heybridge Swifts at Scraley Road.
The West Ham United youngster is currently training with the U’s, with a view to making a loan move from Upton Park.
Moncur played 45 minutes for Colchester in their 4-1 friendly win at Brantham Athletic last weekend and is expected to play a similar part tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Colchester manager Joe Dunne said: “George did well at Brantham and he certainly showed his enthusiasm again.
“He was willing to work and these initial games are just about getting match sharpness and match fitness.
“Tactically, we can bring things together as the pre-season progresses and I thought he did fine.”
Colchester’s under-21 side are also in action tonight at Brantham Athletic (kick-off 7.45pm).
