Colchester United chalked up another friendly win tonight when they ran out 4-1 winners over AFC Sudbury.
Freddie Sears scored from the penalty spot and Drey Wright's fine strike gave the U's a 2-0 lead at half-time, against their Ryman League division one north hosts.
And although Sudbury pulled a goal back after the break, goals from Sammie Szmodics and Dan Holman completed another friendly win for Colchester, who once again fielded different sides in each half.
The U's have won all three of their pre-season friendlies so far, scoring 16 goals in the process.
Colchester's first team are next in action on Saturday when they travel to play Ryman Premier side Leiston.
