David Fisher got his Commonwealth Games medal bid off to a perfect start with a 14-10 victory in his opening lawn bowls match in Glasgow.
The Colchester bowls player was part of the England men’s Open Triples Para-Sport squad that beat Wales, in their first-round match.
Fisher, along with England team-mates Bob Love and skip Paul Brown, triumphed 9-6 on ends at the Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls venue.
England's next match is against Malaysia, tomorrow morning.
