Colchester's David Fisher has won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Fisher was part of England's Open Triples Para-Sport team that won their bronze match against host nation Scotland, winning 16-12.
Fisher, along with team-mates Bob Love and skip Paul Brown, drew 8-8 on ends at the Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls venue.
It was suitable revenge for England, after they had lost 22-14 to Scotland in their final pool match last Tuesday.
England had earlier beaten Wales and Malaysia in their first two pool matches and lost to Scotland, before being beaten in their semi-final against eventual gold medallists South Africa on Wednesday.
Fisher, who is a member of Colchester West End Bowls Club and Colchester Indoor Bowls Club, also competed at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
It is the first time that Fisher has been able to compete at the event since then, as the Para-Sport Triples has not been included in its schedule.
