THE finalists are now known in the PiriPiri North Essex League’s Knockout Cup and Plate competitions.
Four sides have made it through to finals day, at Halstead on September 7.
In the cup, Little Bardfield Village sealed their place thanks to a two-wicket success at home to Halstead.
The hosts batted first but only just scraped into three figures, all out for 101.
Tom Graham took four wickets for Bardfield, who then got home with a couple of wickets to spare.
Their opponents in the final will be High Easter, who won by 70 runs at West Bergholt.
Bergholt’s top-performer was Dan Wheeler, who scored 50.
In the Plate final it will be Chappel & Wakes Colne against St Margaret’s.
Chappel beat Stebbing by concession, while St Margaret’s prevailed by five wickets at home to Rayne.
