Jamie Cureton has added to his silverware collection by scooping a coveted national award.
The Colchester United striker has been crowned Powerade Player of the Month for April in the Coca-Cola Championship.
And his success comes hot on the heels of another accolade, when he was presented with the U's - in association with the Gazette - player of the season award after Sunday's clash with Crystal Palace.
Cureton - who netted 24 goals in total - was in terrific form during April, netting six goals from five games.
He started the month with an impressive hat-trick at Southend United.
And the frontman then went on to score an injury-time winner against Leeds United and helped Colchester snatch a point with a late equaliser against Hull City at the KC Stadium.
Cureton rounded off the month in style by netting the final goal in his side's excellent home victory over Sunderland.
Also short-listed for the April award were Daniel Nardiello, of Barnsley, Radhi Jaidi, of Birmingham City, and Burnley's Andy Gray.
