LADY captain Marilyn Clarke hosted her Ladies' Guest Day at Frinton Golf Club.
It was a lovely day, with sunshine and almost no wind for a change.
Sixteen guests were welcomed, many of whom had played the course before on other Guest Days.
The format was fourball better ball and the scores reflected the good conditions.
Ginny Richardson and her partner/cousin Sally Caerns, from Chigwell Golf Club, won with 49 points.
Angela Vaughan and guest Gina MacMillan were in second place, with 47 points, and Sheran Harding and Glynis Hutchence were in third with 44.
Meanwhile, Frinton's seniors continued their inter-club matches with a mixture of wins, draws and losses.
They had a good win at home to Woodbridge, with the final score 5-3.
They also took part in the inaugural triangular match versus The Wags and Ferrets.
The seniors were delighted to record a narrow victory and, in so doing, became the first holders of a splendid trophy presented by Roger Attrill.
