Colchester United have boosted their under-23 ranks after signing defender David Agboola.
The 18-year-old, a former member of the Dagenham and Redbridge academy, has agreed a one-year deal with the U's.
Agboola impressed Colchester while on trial over pre-season and has now earned himself a contract, at the JobServe Community Stadium.
He will link up with Kevin Horlock's under-23 side, who begin their Professional Development League Two programme with a game against Hull City at the KC Stadium, on Sunday.
