COLCHESTER United have boosted their attacking options with the loan signing of striker Freddie Hinds on loan from Championship club Bristol City.
The 20-year-old has arrived from the Robins on loan until January, where he will be hoping to get plenty of League Two appearances under his belt for the U's.
Hinds has made four appearances for the Robins since joining them on a two-and-a-half year deal from Luton Town in January, 2017 for an undisclosed fee.
He has spent time on loan at the U's League Two rivals Cheltenham Town, making 14 appearances for them and scoring once during a five-month spell at Whaddon Road.
Hinds, who has also had loan spells at Wrexham and Bath City, will provide competition for the likes of Luke Norris, Frank Nouble and Jevani Brown in the U's attack.
