SENIOR Roger Warren won the prestigious Captain's Cup at Colne Valley Golf Club on Sunday, with an impressive 40 stableford points.
Jane Tytler won the women's Captain's Cup with an equally dominant 39 points, beating last year's winner, junior contender Mia Barningham, by two points.
Only three points separated the top three men as Rhys Whitelock came in second with 39 and Joshua Wells finished third with 38.
Warren, who received the cup from last year's men's winner Norris Silk, was also rewarded by seeing his handicap reduced from 16 to 14.
Among the 59 entrants, there were also handicap reductions for Whitelock, Tytler and Wells.
Pearl Powell was the third-best woman with 34 points.
Earlier the women held a drawn super stableford which was won by Daisy Eves with 35 points.
Runner-up was Deborah Webb with 34, on countback from third-placed Ruth Anderson.
