COLCHESTER United will give several of their first-team players the chance to impress when their under-23s take on QPR today.
Michael Folivi and Josh Bohui have been named in the U's squad to travel to play Rangers in their latest Professional Development League Two match, this afternoon (kick-off 1pm).
Junior Tchamadeu, Samson Tovide and Marley Marshall Miranda will also feature in the match against Paul Hall's side at Harlington, along with the likes of Harvey Sayer and Andre Hasanally.
The match will give players such as Folivi and Bohui the opportunity to try and break back into the U's first-time thinking.
Folivi has not made the Colchester bench for their last two League Two matches against Mansfield Town and Leyton Orient.
The 22-year-old attacker's last appearance for Steve Ball's side was when he featured as a late substitute for Jevani Brown in the U's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Scunthorpe United, last month.
Bohui has also found himself out of the first-team reckoning at Colchester, over recent weeks.
The former Manchester United youngster has not featured for the U's since January 16, when he came on as a late substitute for Callum Harriott in their 1-1 draw with Cambridge United, at the JobServe Community Stadium.
Colchester sit two points below QPR, in the Professional Development League Two table.
The U's sit just below Rangers in the table, in seventh place and will leapfrog their hosts with a win.
Colchester's under-23s, managed by Richard Hall and Dave Huzzey, will be looking for a response from their side following the 4-1 loss at Cardiff City, last week.
They played that game against the Bluebirds with only ten men, following Billy Cracknell's early sending off.
Rangers have picked up four points from their last two matches, beating Millwall and drawing with Swansea City
