FORMER Colchester United midfielder Ben Stevenson has signed for their League Two rivals Forest Green Rovers.
The 24-year-old playmaker, who left the U's earlier this month, has signed a two-year deal with the New Lawn club.
Forest Green director of football Rich Hughes said: "Ben is an experienced player at this level and still has so much potential.
βWe are delighted to be able to bring Ben to the Football Club. Heβs a talented player and Iβm sure the fans will enjoy his technical ability.β

Stevenson confirmed on social media earlier this month that he will be leaving the U's, once his contract expires later this summer.
The former Coventry City and Wolves midfielder, along with striker Michael Folivi, had been listed by the U's as a player they were still awaiting discussion and/or a decision from when they announced their retained list, last month.
Stevenson made nearly 100 league and cup appearances for Colchester, having initially joined them on loan in January, 2018.
He signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the U's when he joined them on a permanent basis from Wolves in January, 2019.
