FORMER Colchester United loanee Armando Dobra has joined National League side Chesterfield after leaving Ipswich Town by mutual consent.
Town confirmed yesterday that the 21-year-old, who made 17 league and cup appearances for the U's in the first half of last season, had departed the League One club.
Dobra, who made 30 appearances for Town after coming through the Academy programme, has now joined Chesterfield, managed by former Town boss Paul Cook, on a two-year deal.
The Albanian under-21 international joined Colchester on a season-long loan, last season.
Town can confirm Armando Dobra has departed the Club.

The attacking midfielder made seven league starts for the U's and 11 appearances in total in League Two, scoring once.
However, Dobra did not play under Wayne Brown after he took over from Hayden Mullins, initially on an interim basis.
Dobra's final game for Colchester was their Papa John's Trophy defeat at Sutton United, on January 4.
Dobra was one of six loanees currently in the Colchester squad, in the second half of last season.
And EFL rules state that clubs can only include a maximum of five loanees, in their 18-man matchday squad.
