LIAM Trotter has penned a new deal with Ipswich Town.
The highly-rated midfielder has signed an extension to his contract which will keep him at Portman Road until June 2009.
Northern Irish defender Chris Casement has been offered a similar deal and is expected to sign it soon.
Boss Jim Magilton said: "Both boys are on the first rung of a long ladder but have done well here and deserve to be rewarded with new contracts.
"We want to keep them hungry and positive and I see their long-term futures at this football club."
