A COMPLETE team performance eased Harwich and Parkeston's relegation fears in the Ridgeons League premier division, as they ran out 4-0 winners over Dereham Town.
There hasn't been a lot to cheer about at The Royal Oak in recent months, with a string of disappointing results and the resignation of former boss Robbie May.
But caretaker manager Tony Armstrong has brought in new blood and the fresh approach appears to be working.
Jimmy Chatters opened the scoring for Harwich, before two goals from striker Scott Page and one from new signing Gino Defeo, making his debut.
Armstrong was pleased with the result and performance.
He told the Gazette: "We played absolutely superbly and the whole team responded to the recent defeats.
"We gave a complete team performance and Gino Defeo made a real difference.
"I could not fault any aspect of our game. We took an early advantage and built up a very good lead."
