Maldon Town need to win all of their remaining Ryman League division one north matches if they are to make the play-offs, according to manager Russell Tanner.
He takes his side to lowly Wingate and Finchley tomorrow and anything but a victory will leave them with a huge task on their hands.
They were not helped by a disastrous 3-1 defeat last weekend at Arlesey and then their game against Great Wakering Rovers on Monday was postponed.
Tanner told the Gazette: "After a very disappointing performance last weekend have need to get back on track and get back to basics.
"It is a shame the game on Monday was called off as it would have been nice to get the defeat out of our system.
"But we have had a week to reflect on it and the players know what is expected of them."
