Witham Town's players will be hoping for a less financially painful game tomorrow.
Following their 4-3 defeat at Wivenhoe Town they were hit in the pocket as well as in the points column of the Ryman League division one north table.
An incensed Tony Last blasted his players, after the Witham boss saw his team throw away a seemingly comfortable 3-1 lead to concede a trio of goals in the last 12 minutes against their Essex neighbours, and vowed that none of the side would receive expenses for travelling to Broad Lane.
"I feel very let down by the side after that," said Last.
"You are 3-1 up, you are coasting, you hit the crossbar - and then you just switch off.
"They didn't want to know and I told them that."
While Witham getting sucked into the scrap at the foot of the division one north table is an extremely remote possibility, a three-point haul against the Dragons would have removed any lingering threat of relegation the Spa Road side have.
They will be looking to bounce back from Monday's disappointment when they host Edgware Town at the Spicer McColl Stadium, Spa Road.
