There was a double celebration for AFC Phoneix as they added the joy of winning the Ruby Challenge Cup to that of being crowned Colchester Sunday League premier division champions.
They retained the Ruby Cup after an extra-time 6-3 victory against Knights Allstars, before news came through that closest premier division rivals AFC Pegasus could only draw 1-1 with FCB.
It meant Phoenix couldn't be caught at the top of the division so were also league champions for a second consecutive season.
Meanwhile, Colchester Athletic booked their spot in the Wally Castle Trophy final with a 3-0 win over Borussia Thorpmund thanks to goals from Napolitano and Auty.
In the premier division, SC Kelvedon moved up to fourth, beating third-placed Eastgate 4-0 with a hat-trick from Wilson and one from Cole.
AFC Pegasus Reserves gave their division one survival hopes a boost with a 6-3 win at Botolphs, Middlewick Rangers drew 1-1 with Northgate Athletic with goals from Morris and Joyner respectively, while leaders Real BTS won 1-0 against Tollegion with a strike from Braddon.
Oyster Legion moved into third place in division two by beating Goat and Boot 3-0 with goals from Hargreaves (2) and Pacey, while Rhodes, Woods and Jackson were on target for CUSA as they beat Riverview 3-2.
Colne Star stayed top of division three with a 6-0 win at Revolution, while Blueforces are still in second as goals from Revie (3), Price (2), White (2) and Shaw gave them the points at Colchester Spartans.
Pitchbury and Polstead shared the points with a win apiece in their double-header.
Goals from Ketley and Jeckalls saw Norfolk Destroyers beat Newtown Rovers 2-1 and AFC Phoenix Reserves beat Villa Royale 5-3. In division four, FC Drury won 5-0 at Newtown Reserves, thanks to Love (2), Burrows, Brook and an own goal and Ramsey United Reserves won 5-2 against Feering United.
Sportsmans beat Colchester Deaf 2-1 in division five with a brace from R Harvey, Elmstead Athletic won 7-2 at home to Feering Reserves with strikes from Serheunik (3), Barrett, Pryke, Stanmore and an own goal, while FC Drury Reserves beat Tolleshunt D'Arcy 2-0 with strikes from Wallace and Garrard.
