A FINE finish helped Dominic Schils claim victory at the competitive Ixworth Criteriums.
Riding for Marks Tey-based team Lotto Olympia Interbike, Schils pounced with minutes remaining, despite it being his second event of the day.
Schils was still catching his breath from the first race when he competed in the third and fourth category.
But he fought off competition from the likes of team-mate Ben Nicholson, Pat Harbord and Mark Westrup (VC Baracchi) and Robert Hunt (API/Metrow) to secure a hard-fought win.
The afternoon of racing was promoted by Bury St Edmunds club, West Suffolk Wheelers.
